Toula Sievers

Toula (Marros) Sievers, 93, of Whitewater and previously of Palmyra, WI, passed away peacefully within hours of arriving at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc, WI, on May 5th, 2022.

Toula was born on March 20th, 1929 in Stevens Point, WI,  the daughter of Peter and Agnes (Booras) Marros. A daughter of Greek immigrants, Toula was proud of her heritage. She grew up in Steven Point and graduated from Oshkosh Business College. She worked at Central State Teachers College until marrying William Sievers on September 26, 1953. Their daughter Kim, was born in December of the following year. Toula and Bill were married for 30 years before his unexpected passing in 1984.
Toula was an avid reader and a frequent library goer, having been involved in Powers Memorial Library for many years. She loved watching birds and wildlife, and attending the theatre productions at UW Whitewater, where she held season tickets for over 40 years.
As a resident of Mulberry Glen she developed a love for bingo and was the ambassador there who greeted new residents and made them feel welcome.
She loved life and all the people who generously shared their lives with her. Toula will be greatly missed by people near and far.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Bob) Clarke of Palmyra, WI; and her dear sister Virginia Markwell of Roswell, NM. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and an incredible number of wonderful friends.

Toula was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William, and her sister Katherine Dietz.

Per Toula's adamant wishes, no formal services will be held.
