Rosebella Fleck

Rosebella Fleck, 85, of Waukesha, WI and previously of Eagle River, WI passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Oak Hill Terrace Senior Community.

Rosebella was born on May 22, 1937 in Strasburg, North Dakota the daughter of John and Anastasia (Roehrich) Vetter. She grew up in the Strasburg area and after she finished her schooling, married Eugene Fleck on December 29, 1955. Rosebella and Eugene were blessed with two loving children, Delilah and David. She worked in the restaurant industry for the majority of her working career as a waitress, cook, and bartender. She and Eugene also owned their own restaurant, Fleck’s Meadow Inn of Eagle River for quite a few years. Rosebella had a hardworking personality and she loved to be active. Besides work, she enjoyed doing arts and crafts such as making wreaths and embroidery. She also loved to fish and work in her garden. Cooking was also a passion of hers and she made all types of delicious food for her family and customers to enjoy. Rosebella was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by: her loving husband of 66 years, Eugene Fleck; her two loving children, Delilah (Stephen Spring) Fleck of Muskego, WI and David (Wendy) Fleck of Mukwonago, WI; her two grandchildren, Kayla and Devin Fleck of Mukwonago, WI; and her siblings, Clementine, Lavina, Leo, and Alvin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Mary.

Rosebella’s family will hold a celebration of her life in the Summer of 2023.
