Dianna L. Falkenberg

Dianna L. Falkenberg, age 59, of Eagle, WI passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Dianna was born on August 27, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Kenneth and Stephanie (Porod) Vierck. She grew up in Milwaukee and worked in the offices of the Milwaukee and East Troy Police Departments for the majority of her working career. On October 17, 1992 Dianna married the love of her life, Joseph Falkenberg in Waukesha. The Lord blessed Dianna with a loving daughter, Marisa. Dianna had many interests during her life but the one thing they all had in common was her love and care for others. She was a people person. She enjoyed serving others and taking care of their needs. She also had an infectious smile and pretty much made friends everywhere she went. Dianna tended bar part time for fun and enjoyed the interactions with her customers and co-workers very much. She also enjoyed baking and made countless batches of cookies for her friends, family, and Joe’s co-workers. She and Joe pitched horseshoes in the Eagle Horseshoe League for many years and they both enjoyed the friendships they made along the way. Dianna like to read, crochet, and play computer games. She also greatly enjoyed spending time with her family playing cards or playing Yahtzee with her sister. It was the time spent together laughing and bonding more than the games themselves. She also enjoyed escaping up North with Joe for the occasional weekend away. Dianna was loved deeply and she will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind. 

She is survived by: her loving husband, Joseph Falkenberg of Eagle, WI; her dear daughter, Marisa (Daniel) Szymuszkiewicz of Eagle, WI; her father, Kenneth Vierck, Sr. of Theresa, WI; and her siblings, Kenneth (Ardie) Vierck, Jr. of Nevada, Carol (Rick) Kowalski of Watertown, WI, Carlene (John) Erickson of Arizona, Laura (Gary) Hanks of Germany, and Steven (Cari) Vierck of Hudson, WI. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her mother. 

A  Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until 2:00PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle, WI (103 W. Eagle St. Eagle, WI 53119).
