Sheliah M. Curtiss, 72, of Eagle, WI passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Vitas Hospice Center in West Allis, WI.
Sheliah was born on December 27, 1946 in Appleton, WI the daughter of Clarence and June (Schardt) Gollnow. She grew up in the Appleton area and graduated from Appleton High School in 1964. She worked for the General Electric Company for the majority of her working career in a variety of administrative capacities. Sheliah had many interests during her life. She was a skilled baker and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen baking things for her family to enjoy. She was active and loved to swim, she found knitting to be relaxing and was also a self taught accordion player and organist. Sheliah spent the last few years making memories and traveling with her husband Tom. She was very kind and would help anyone in need. Sheliah was a charitable woman and spent a good amount of her time doing volunteer work for St. Vincent De Paul. She was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed.
Sheliah is survived by: her husband, Thomas Curtiss; her sons James “Jamie” DeCaluwe and Chad DeCaluwe; her grandsons, Stephen and Noah Delbert DeCaluwe; and her siblings, Terry (Peggy) Gollnow and Shirley (Jerry) Nygren.
Sheliah is preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband, Raymond D. DeCaluwe.
A Memorial Service will be held to honor Sheliah’s life at 11:30AM on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Highview Evangelical Presbyterian Church S50 W33042 Road GE Dousman, WI with Rev. Stephen Hess presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:30AM until the time of service at the church.
