Marilyn J. Forseth, 77, of Palmyra, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at AngelsGrace Hospice Center in Oconomowoc.
Marilyn was born on January 16, 1942 in Milwaukee the daughter of Charles and Esther (Nelson) Winkler. She married Allen Forseth on June 25, 1960 in West Allis and the Lord blessed Marilyn and Allen’s marriage with two loving children, Peter and Patricia. Allen and Marilyn enjoyed 55 years of marriage together until his death in 2015. Marilyn worked as a registered nurse at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital for the majority of her working career. For leisure, she loved to sew and paint. These things came easy to her; she was very skilled with her hands. Marilyn had a big heart and was very hospitable. She always welcomed her children’s friends to join them for a family meal and was often referred to as their “second mom”. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by: her 2 children, Peter (Donna) Forseth, and Patricia (Tim) Hurdis; 2 grandchildren, Angela (Nathan) Hack, and Rachel Hurdis; 1 great-grandchild, Harper Hack; and 2 siblings, Susie (Dave) Robbins and Nels (Diane) Winkler. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Allen Forseth.
