Erma Zelma Baker
Erma Zelma Baker, 94, of Ellisville, Mississippi, died Monday, February 15, 2010 at Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville, Mississippi.
Erma was born January 27, 1916 in Chillicothe, Missouri, the daughter of Manzel L. and Vernia M. (Bate) England. She had worked at the Glove Factory in Chillicothe.
Erma is survived by her son Floyd Elliott of Ellisville, one sister, Venita Matthews, Chillicothe, Missouri, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Her husbands, Floyd C. Elliott and Roy Baker preceded her in death. Her parents, Manzell and Vernia May (Parks) England, brothers, Kermit and Delbert England, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Springhill, Missouri, west of Chillicothe.
The family suggests contributions be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Erma. They may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.
